To those of you who have asked how my trip to Africa went: It was amazing! The actual meaning of that is what I hold deep in my heart.

Going through my photographs from this journey I see that the story of Zambia lies in the faces. Each one tells many stories about life. There are fears, and sadness, and hope and playfulness, there is hunger and hardship and beauty. There are stories in these faces that are unimaginable to most of us, and some that are familiar.

My heart is open to those who have shown me their story. I am forever changed and blessed by meeting each of these people. The imprint of their faces are embedded on my heart and have become part of my story.

Thank you Zambia for deepening my experience and teaching me many truths.
